Introduction
Bill Svitavsky is an associate professor and emerging services librarian at the Olin Library and liaison librarian to the departments of Applied Behavior Analysis & Clinical Science, Counseling, English, History, Music, Psychology, and Theatre Arts & Dance. His research interests include American comic book history, the work of M.P. Shiel, and geek culture. Among his publications, he coedited and contributed to the essay collections Ages of Heroes, Eras of Men: Superheroes and the American Experience and Assembling the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Essays on the Social, Cultural, and Geopolitical Domains.
